SARAS6 - Simulator for AeRospace ApplicationS -6 DOF
Test bed to simulate six degrees of freedom motion of an aerospace vehicle. SARAS6 simulates translational and rotational motion of the vehicle. The subsystems are mathematically modeled to realistically represent the vehicle and environment
- Computes all the forces and moments acting on the vehicle
- Simulates subsystems like Navigation, Guidance, Digital Auto Pilot, Propulsion, Flexibility, Control System, Sensors and Slosh dynamics.
- Simulates subsystems independently and integrated mode.
- Simulates the vehicle dynamics in off-nominal conditions
- Shall be used as an analysis tool for flexibility analysis, Monte Carlo simulations, Range/Mission Safety analysis and visibility studies
